ACT-Based Support for (Health) Anxiety, Habits & Mindset Shifts

I support people navigating unhelpful habits, anxiety, health anxiety, stress or burnout. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we focus on building psychological flexibility. Together, we learn how to relate differently to your thoughts and emotions, rather than fighting them. We explore how to take meaningful steps in different areas of life guided by your values.

Living With Constant Anxiety or Overthinking

Your mind races, your chest tightens, and you often feel on edge even when nothing “bad” is happening. You try to calm down or reason your way out of it, but it rarely lasts. You’re tired of anxiety running the show and want to find a way to live beyond the noise in your head.

Stuck in Old Habits You’re Ready to Change

You’ve tried to cut back on things that no longer serve you, whether it’s endless scrolling, skipping workouts, or late-night snacking. You want to feel better about your choices, but it’s hard to stick with new routines when life gets busy or your mind pulls you back into autopilot.

Health Anxiety That Won’t Let You Rest

Every ache or symptom sends you spiraling. You’ve Googled everything, double-checked, and maybe even visited doctors but your mind still clings to the worst-case scenario. You know it’s exhausting you, but you don’t know how to break the cycle without ignoring your body completely.

Stress, Overwhelm or Burnout

Life feels like a constant to-do list, and even rest doesn’t feel restful anymore. You’re moving through the days on autopilot, stretched thin, and it’s hard to feel present. You want to feel more connected to yourself, to others, to what actually matters, but everything feels a bit too much.

Hi, I’m Szofi! I'm a NIP Psychologist® and founder of ACTualize.

I support people who feel stuck in habits, overwhelmed by anxiety, or weighed down by self-doubt and are ready to shift from avoidance to action, even when things feel hard.

For me, real (mental) health isn’t about doing things perfectly. It’s about making space for the messy stuff and learning to move forward with what really matters. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I help you shift your mindset, show up with more self-compassion, and build a life that’s not just healthier, but also truer to you.

Memberships and Tools

I am a member of the Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen – NIP and The Association for Contextual Behavioral Science as well as a proud user of the PsychFlex application.

What Your Life Could Feel Like

Imagine feeling more like yourself again. More grounded, more present, more connected to what actually matters to you. Where habits feel aligned with your values, not forced. And where anxious thoughts, stress, or self-doubt no longer stop you from showing up for your life.

You’ll learn how to show up for what matters, even on hard days.

You stop waiting to “feel better” in order to live better.

What I Can Support You With

People often reach out to me for support with anxiety, including health anxiety and different types of fears. I also help with stress, overwhelm, and early signs of burnout, as well as building habits that last, letting go of the ones that don’t, and creating meaningful change that’s guided by your values, not pressure or perfection.
